THE mooncake festival may be a Chinese celebration, but in Sarawak it has become an occasion to showcase the state’s multicultural harmony.

For a week at the end of last month, visitors from all races flocked to Carpenter Street and its surrounding lanes for the Kuching Intercultural Mooncake Festival.
