Parents should pay more attention to ensure children’s safety

LAST month, a three-year-old boy nearly lost his right hand that got stuck at the edge of an escalator in a shopping mall in George Town. The skin on his hand was ripped off right up to the wrist.

The father said his son was lucky. He hoped other parents would learn from the incident and be more attentive to their children.
