IT’S disappointing, but not entirely unexpected, that the Election Commission (EC) would appeal the High Court’s ruling on its redelineation exercise in Sarawak.
Of course the EC is perfectly within its rights to appeal the decision. In doing so, however, it is passing up an opportunity to improve the delineation process with more transparency and detailed information for affected voters.
