IT WAS not your typical sleepy Putrajaya weekend last Saturday when electric-powered cars in the FIA Formula E Championship attacked the streets for this year’s second e-Prix.

The sound of high-pitched whirs from the battery-operated engines and the clanking from the gearboxes of the racing machines reverberating through the streets of the administrative capital, was certainly electrifying.
