Gunners aim to give Mourinho more ‘Blues’ this weekend

It’s business as usual now at Stamford Bridge, with the pressure eased on Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea after a routine win in midweek in the Champions League. Pressure? What pressure? Chelsea were the only English side to win in Europe’s elite competition after limp performances from Man Utd, Man City and Arsenal, who all lost their opening games in the Champions League.

It sets things up nicely today when the Blues welcome Arsenal in the London derby early kick-off that is sure to set the tone for the rest of the weekend’s league programme. Given the turbulance that has followed Chelsea these past few weeks, I am sure Mourinho and Co will welcome the “winning feeling”. And timely was the win against Israeli side Maccabi Tel Aviv with the fresh faces that the manager brought into the squad, putting on impressive displays.
