Dentist and musician find joy in Japanese martial style

DENTIST Dr Neoh Siew Peng, who is a kendoka (kendo practitioner), was nervous but excited about taking part in second Japanese Ambassadors Cup.

“I always wanted to learn kendo, but was away studying. When I came back to Penang in 2013, I seized the opportunity to learn the art,” she said, adding that it was her first time in the competition.
