Basketball in the region is in pretty good shape, according to Jim Wong, the senior director of marketing partnerships at NBA Asia. In a wide ranging interview with MetroSport, Wong also said that Malaysia has good potential for becoming a potent force in South-East Asia. Following are excerpts of the interview:
