MALAYSIAN Schools Sports Council (MSSM) were deservedly the overall champions of the MSSM-WALA-SSSC-IPE athletics championships.
In the two-day event, held at the National Sports Institute (ISN) Trainng Centre in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur, the Malaysian team collected 28 gold, 28 silver and 23 bronze medals, and left Western Australia Little Athletics (Wala) to settle for second place with 24 gold, 19 silver and 26 bronze, followed by Singapore Schools Sports Council (G7-S14-B12).
