UNIVERSITI Teknologi Mara’s (UiTM) Perindu Legend Jr. (AUFC) were crowned champions at the first GenYes Futsal Championship after edging Kojo FC 6-5 on penalties in the final.
The nervy shootout took place as daylight was fading and after a downpour in the evening disrupted the conditions of the playing surface, causing the friendly match between senior management of UiTM and YTL Communications to be cancelled.
