Council out to promote lesser-known sports

All set for the show: Chong Eng (centre), Tan (in suit), Penang Sport Council deputy chairman II Datuk Ong Poh Eng (third right) and Queensbay Mall marcom manager Christopher Koh (third left) posing with several state athletes who will be participating in the roadshow.

THE Penang Sports Council (MSNPP) will be organising a series of roadshows in the state to attract and educate the public on the availability and attraction of several high-performance sports.

While many youngsters take up high-profile sports like football and badminton, there is a dearth of talents in other lesser-known sports which have delivered success for Penang over the years.
