He partied in London in the swinging 60s, ran a club and worked for recording company EMI. But through it all Chen Kwai Cheong, now a restaurateur, never lost sight of what he really wanted to do: be a businessman. JOY LEE reports.
CHEN Kwai Cheong, affectionately known to his friends as Teddy after belting out a rendition of Elvis Presley’s Teddy Bear in a talent show back in school, has enjoyed a rather interesting life. He’s lived it up in London in the swinging 1960s and rubbed shoulders with famous celebrities like Sheena Easton, Olivia Newton-John and Mick Jagger.
