Banks’ backing for SMEs recognised

Malayan banking Bhd, Maybank Islamic Bhd, OCBC Al-Amin Bank Bhd and Standard Chartered Saadiq Bhd have been hailed as important financial supporters of small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by the Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia Bhd (CGC).

The four banks received the Top SME Supporter Award at the CGC’s 20th Supporter Award event held at Bangunan CGC in Petaling Jaya for their significant contributions towards SME financing through CGC guarantee schemes.
