Meet the spice boys

Wong and son took part in the Halal Ingredients Asia 2015 recently.

A chef of many years who was particular about the spices used in his cooking, Allen Wong didn’t think what was available in the market was up to scratch, so he made his own. Today, he and his son are spice merchants who run NIS Spice Manufacfuring. ZIEMAN reports.

ALLEN Wong has always been very picky about spices and herbs, and this goes all the way back to the 1950s when he was a young chef who insisted on grinding and blending his own spices.
