Call to save our sailfish

Landing the sailfish is a trophy catch among sports fishermen. However, there is a need to quickly released the fish back into the sea to ensure it survival after being involved in an exhausted fight and taken out of the water to be photographed.

EVERY year, between July and October, the sea between Kuala Rompin and Mersing, Johor is the focus of sports anglers.

During this period, keen fishermen charter boats to take them out to the sea to look for the fastest fish in the ocean.
