Disabled boy takes to swimming like a fish to water

True grit: Mohamad all set to dive into the swimming pool. Encouraging him are (from left) his father Ghazali Saad, 46, teacher Yusfarahana Yusof and mother Khalijah at the MPSP Sports Complex in Jalan Betik, Bukit Mertajam.

BEING disabled has failed to stop 10-year-old Mohamad Nur Faris Ghazali from pursuing his hobby in the water.

The Year Four pupil from Sekolah Pendidikan Khas Permatang Tinggi in Penang is unable to walk due to the absence of hip bones since birth.
