A newcomer’s first night outdoors in a tent can be very memorable

This Coleman Instant Up tent was my room for two days in January. The tent has side windows and a front awning which doubles as your front porch.

BUYING a tent and putting it up in the middle of the garden may have looked like fun but not until I had to set it up myself and spend the night in it.

It is true that the real test was to take everything out of the box, figure out what the instructions and start putting it together.
