Public transportation has not changed much over the years

Flashback: StarMetro reporters spoke to commuters about their experiences with public buses in a report on March 10.

AS I was washing my car at home in Kelana Jaya on a Saturday morning after reading The Star’s story on the MyBas project, I couldn’t help reminiscing the days when I was a daily commuter on stage buses as a secondary school student in the 1990s.

The vivid images of the blue Sri Jaya buses, the pink mini buses and the unique trapezoidal-shaped Intrakota coaches are still fresh in my mind as I recalled days when I literally had to chase buses to get to school on time and back home before it got dark.
