JOHOR BARU: Looking to cater to the travelers’ demand for unconventional hotels, a businessman decided to provide a new holiday experience by introducing what was said to be Johor’s first container hotel.

Erwin Chow, 43, decided to set up the Container Gardenstay in Johor Baru after getting the idea a few years ago from his best friend and business partner Thomas Pua, 43, who studied and lived in a container in United States of America in 1993.
