Penang MCA helps 30 needy people to apply for welfare aid

SOME 30 underprivileged people were enlightened on how to apply for aid during a dialogue session with the Welfare Department at the Bukit Mertajam MCA headquarters.

Deputy Women, Family and Community Development Minister Datin Paduka Chew Mei Fun said that because of the language barrier, many of them did not know how to apply for welfare aid or seek help from the authorities.
