‘Many keen on composting food waste’

State Local Government Committee chairman Chow Kon Yeow said many people have started composting food waste using waste-processing machines supplied by the Penang Island City Council (MBPP).

He said the council has 14 such food conversion units placed at five schools, seven markets and two high-rise blocks in George Town.
