KUCHING: The second edition of the Iban-Malay dictionary by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP) may strengthen and preserve the ethnic languages in Sarawak.
DBP deputy director-general (operations) Kamarul Zaman Shaharudin said as part of DBP ethnic languages master plan, the dictionary was necessary for the culture and art of Iban ethnic to be documented for the use of future generations.
