MUKAH: The state has issued a total of 14 power generating plant licences to companies which produce energy using biomass for use by their own industry.

Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem said at the commissioning of Mukah Iomas Power Plant yesterday that when construction work on these plants was completed they would be able to produce a total of 153 megawatt of electricity.
