JPAM to help manage KL disasters

The Kuala Lumpur Civil Defence Department (WPKL JPAM) has taken over the disaster management task from the Kuala Lumpur National Security Council (WPKL MKN).

Federal Territories Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Adnan Md Ikshan witnessed the handover ceremony where WPKL MKN secretary Mohd Anuar Ismail handed over the disaster management task to WPKL JPAM deputy director Mohd Rosman Abdullah at a simple ceremony at Menara Sri Wilayah in Putrajaya.
