KUCHING: The Sarawak Forestry Department intends to take the bite out of crocodiles living in the wild to resolve the ongoing conflict between man and beast.
It is proposing to downgrade crocodiles from the current Appendix 1, thus allowing the public to shoot or kill the reptiles to protect themselves and their assets such as livestock from crocodile attacks.
