PERSATUAN Tongkat Putih Pulau Pinang will be celebrating World White Cane Day by organising a walk for the visually impaired today to create awareness about the struggles that they face on a daily basis.

Its president Swarn Singh said the aim was to let the visually impaired participants walk freely on the roads with their white canes without worrying about traffic.
