THE FAMOUS Tow Boo Keong temple in Ipoh is abuzz with activity as the annual Nine Emperor Gods Festival has just begun.
Outside the temple, stalls have been set up to sell the festival’s must-have items, including candles, incense, oil, and the cute pink and yellow tortoise buns used in prayer rituals.
