This year’s World Architecture Day focuses on the most celebrated curator of Sarawak Museum

KUCHING: The subject of the month-long exhibition to celebrate this year’s World Architecture Day is Major Tom Harnett Harrisson DSO OBE – the British polymath who is the most celebrated curator of the Sarawak Museum.

Harrison, most often described an an “barefoot anthropologist”, was chosen as he “had many of the qualities architecture students should have”, said the Malaysian Institute of Architects, Sarawak Chapter, in a statement.
