Natives highlight climate change woes


Concerned: Native groups throughout Malaysia gathered recently in Kuala Lumpur to share their views on current issues affecting them.

MIRI: Local native groups have joined hands with their counterparts from 12 Asian countries to highlight to the United Nations the serious woes they are suffering due to the increasing temperature caused by climate change in their respective countries.

Dozens of leaders from Asian indigenous groupings gathered in Chiang Mai, Thailand, recently to share views and experiences on the persistent climate change phenomenon throughout Asia.
