KUCHING: Sarawak Women for Women Society (SWWS) welcomes the Government’s target of having 59% of women in the workforce by 2020, as stated by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak at the United Nations this week.

Currently, women’s participation was at 54%, said the non-governmental body, but improving that percentage alone was not enough.
