In their best traditional wear, the Malayalee cultural night was a time for the remembrance of tradition, long held customs and colourful heritage, one that adults and children alike proudly immersed themselves into in the preservation of Malayalee history. THE Selangor and Federal Territory Malayalee Association’s Onam Cultural Nite 2015 celebration brought to life the rich history and culture of the Onam festival.
A colourful parade of dances and performances was organised by the Selangor and Federal Territory Malayalee Association (SFTMA) and the All Malaysia Malayalee Association (Amma) to retell the tales of the harvest festival.
