Noor Najwa: The Chief Integrity Officer says civil servants must serve the people with total accountability.
ACCOUNTANT Noor Najwa Said has been appointed as the first certified Chief Integrity Officer (CeIO) at the Petaling Jaya City Council (MBPJ) to counter misconducts, criminal behaviour among civil servants and complaints of wrongdoings in the council lodged by residents.
As the city’s CeIO, Najwa is also tasked with encouraging council staff and councillors to appreciate, comprehend and conform with the duties entrusted under both the council’s and Selangor state’s code of ethics.
