Meat supplier’s child secures top scholarship

KUANTAN: The daughter of a meat supplier is among four students in the country to receive the Kijang Emas Scholarship, the highest awarded by Bank Negara Malaysia to pursue her studies in any university in the world.

Hajar Nur Asyiqin Abdul Zubir, 18, received the scholarship after getting 9As in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia as well as passing the stringent three-day interview process.
