Esscom has successfully reduced cross border crime

KOTA KINABALU: The establishment of Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) two years ago has helped bring down incidents of cross border criminal activity on Sabah’s east coast.

The army’s outgoing Task Force 450 Commander Mejar-Jen Datuk Masrani Paiman said that incidents of criminal activities on the border has seen a drop as there is greater cooperation between various enforcement agencies through Esscom.
