SRI Veeramakaliamman Devastha-nam temple has about a month to raise RM1.6mil for a piece of land it had committed to buy.
Temple secretary M. Namasivayam said they would lose half of the RM700,000 deposit if they do not meet the Oct 31 deadline to settle in full the payment for the 14,000sq ft land costing RM3.5mil that is adjacent to the temple in Gelugor, Penang.
