National Day celebration lives up to Central Market’s identity


Several traditional performances representing races around Malaysia displayed the colourfully variant cultures within the country that share similarities and differences but nevertheless co-exist together peacefully.

THE colourful tapestries of our country came alive with an assortment of interactive cultural performances at Central Market’s Merdeka celebration.

Our national heritage was displayed with pride for Malaysia’s 58th National Day from traditional Chinese, Indian and Malay dances such as dikir barat, to Sabahan Murut people’s tarian buluh and adorable dances by the Tunas Tari children’s troupe.
