MIRI: The vicinity surrounding the border checkpoints between Sarawak and Brunei needs an urgent facelift as the areas look like cowboy outposts.

The road leading to the Sungai Tujuh checkpoint, 35km north of Miri City, is narrow and surrounded by bushes and tall grass on both sides.
