Kedah moving ahead with mandatory recycling scheme


MANDATORY separation of solid waste at source can help shed 14 out of the 700 tonnes of waste being disposed off daily in Kedah.

State Solid Waste and Public Cleansing Management Corporation (SWCorp) director Fadzilah Hasan said this was because certain solid waste such as plastic bottles, could be separated and recycled.
