KUCHING: Refuting claims that it “hijacked” the Bersih 4 rally here, Sarawak DAP said its role was to highlight the protest’s original goals of clean elections, clean governments, right to dissent and saving the economy.
State DAP chairman Chong Chieng Jen said some people appeared to have lost focus on the rally’s demands following the green light from the state government for it to go ahead.
