DBKL: Raised platform enough to protect Dataran Merdeka turf

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) is confident the grass at Dataran Merdeka field will be able to withstand the raised platform built over it for the upcoming National Day celebration.

It is learned that a 15,000sqm turf protection mat, which was specially bought to protect the grass during events, will not be used.
