MALACCA: The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry has developed the Women Directors Programme (WDP) to groom qualified women with potential to be effective and influential board of directors’ members in leading organisations.

Currently, women account for 10.4% of directors on the boards of listed companies (PLCs) and 16% for public companies compared to the target of 30% by 2016.
