Sarawak to spend own funds on road works and upgrade

KUCHING: The Sarawak government will fork out another RM100mil of its own funds to complete a trio of road works, linking Petrajaya to Batu Kawa here.

Infrastructure Development and Communications Minister Datuk Seri Michael Manyin said RM67mil would be spent to replace the Temenggong Abang Kipali Abang Akip roundabout with an underpass, RM8mil to widen Kubah Ria Road, and the remaining to upgrade 6km of Stephen Yong Road.
