Musical feat by 281 tabla players enters book of records


Perfect harmony: The big group of tabla players performing at Fort Cornwallis in a bid to create a new record for the Largest and Longest Non-Stop Tabla Playing event.

TWO hundred and eighty-one tabla players made their way into the Malaysia Book of Records (MBR) by playing the traditional Indian percussion instrument non-stop for 51.9 minutes.

The event called the Festival of Taal (FesTaal) 2015 was held at Fort Cornwallis in Penang on Saturday.
