THEY came to Seremban from as far as Kelantan, Kedah and Penang; all for the sake of meeting their former teacher, a man who had moulded their young minds and shaped them into the people they were to become.
Although it has been more than five decades, for the 19 former pupils of Standard 6A, Sultan Ismail Primary School 1 (SIPS 1) in Kota Baru, Kelantan, it was as if time had stood still and they were once again back in the classroom with Surjit Bakan Singh, a beloved teacher, mentor and friend.
