KUCHING: The Sarawak government is funding a RM53mil bridge over Sungai Bako near here that will provide direct land access to some 3,000 villagers.
The project was announced on Saturday and will include a new 3km road cutting through the currently mostly unoccupied bank of Sungai Bako, opening up development opportunities.
