Wrist tags replace cash at Rainforest Fest

New system: The cashless payment wristband that is being introduced at the festival

Cashless payment is being introduced at the Rainforest World Music Festival, which started yesterday.

Sarawak Tourism Board said festival goers would make purchases using wrist tags for almost all transactions within the festival venue, Sarawak Cultural Village, including at the village mart for art and craft, and at food outlets.
