State to monitor trans-border crimes

JOHOR BARU: The Government will extend the Border Intelligence Unit and the Southern Region Base to Johor to monitor trans-border criminal activities this part of the peninsula.

Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed said the focus would be on Johor first before the unit is extended to other states in the southern region.
