MORE than 100 mothers took part in the ‘One-Minute Simultaneous Breastfeeding’ event at Queensbay Mall in Bayan Lepas, Penang, to reduce the stigma about breastfeeding in public.
Event coordinator Connie Mooi said besides encouraging the habit of breast-feeding among mothers, the event was also aimed at sending a message to the public that it is totally normal to breastfeed in the open.
