KUCHING: Malaysians should use festive occasions to strengthen the bonds of friendship, inter-racial and inter-religious harmony in the true spirit of 1Malaysia, says National Unity Consultative Council deputy chairman Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye.
He said this Hari Raya was all the more significant in terms of improving inter-ethnic relations in the wake of the disturbing Low Yat Plaza incident when a theft was given a racial slant.
