A family offering prayers during the celebration at St Anne
MORE than 10,000 people from all walks of life took part in a candlelight procession on the feast day of the annual St Anne’s Novena and Feast in Bukit Mertajam, Penang.
Sunday’s event saw pilgrims from near and far walking behind a beautifully decora-ted float bearing the statues of St Anne and her daughter, the Blessed Virgin Mary, that was taken on a 3km journey outside the church in Jalan Kulim.
