KOTA KINABALU: Local authorities in Sabah have been given a directive to step up their crackdown on the mushrooming of squatter colonies following the fatal electrocution of a fireman in Sandakan last week.
State Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor said municipal and district councils throughout Sabah would be working with other departments and agencies in tackling the problem.
